I put it within the dishwasher at least twice and have never had any issues together with it. I don't know what these different reviewers are execution improper, however I love this filter. I never have grounds in my coffee. There is all the time slightly darker/thicker espresso within the bottom of a just right cup of espresso!
As for value, $20 is NOT the true price for this filter. $10 is the "real" worth, so you are now not getting a bargain on Amazon especially whilst you add transport (unless you are getting free delivery).
